Friends Forever

I have a friend, or I should say I HAD a friend.

We went to college together and our houses were just 100 yards from each other.

We were always together,we sat together in the classes, we went to gym together, we used to go out together.

The funniest thing that still cracks me up is that he said our relationship is like a wine,the older it gets the better it is.

But judging by our situation right now i would say that it was just a dramatic line because it didn't get better.It got worse with time.

Not because of  something I did and neither because of something he did.
It was because of someone else.

Someone who will come in every man's life and I don't know if that should make two friends drift apart but it surely separated us.

He got married.
I was so happy for him.I had so much fun at his wedding.I even danced :p

But over the course of a few months I tried to get in touch with him so that we can hang out or go out and have some fun.

But every time he said I can't go.

Sometimes he had to go shopping with her wife.

Sometimes he was out of town.

Sometimes he had dinner plans.

Can you believe it, it's been a year and he has not gone anywhere with me even for a single time
.
I'm not saying that he is not a good friend.He's a great friend and i wish that everyone gets a sincere fiend like him.

But you must have heard this line that People change after marriage.

Well that is true.I wouldn't believe it until i experienced it myself.

It is not his fault that he can't find time for a friend.

It is a reality that everyone of you has to understand,whether you're a boy or a girl.

People change and there's nothing really you can do about it.

Maybe you'll change after marriage too, you never know.

Just don't judge other people from your own perspective.

Have a little more empathy and try to understand the things from other's point of view.

Believe me you'll find that most of the time you were wrong all along :)
